Gary Ridgeway
Gary Leon Ridgway (born February 18, 1949) is an American serial killer known as the Green River Killer. He was initially convicted of 48 separate murders and later confessed to nearly twice that number. As part of his plea bargain, an additional conviction was added, bringing the total number of convictions to 49. He murdered numerous women and girls in Washington State and California during the 1980s and 1990s. Most of his victims were alleged to be prostitutes. The press gave him his nickname after the first five victims were found in the Green River; his identity was not known. He strangled the women, usually with his arm but sometimes using ligatures. After strangling them, he would dump their bodies throughout forested and overgrown areas in King County, often returning to the dead bodies to have sexual intercourse with them.
On November 30, 2001, as he was leaving the Kenworth truck factory where he worked in Renton, Washington, he was arrested for the murders of four women whose cases were linked to him through DNA evidence. As part of a plea bargain wherein he agreed to disclose the whereabouts of still-missing women, he was spared the death penalty and received a sentence of life imprisonment without parole.

Jeffrey Dahmer
Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer (May 21, 1960 – November 28, 1994), also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal, was an American serial killer, sex offender, cannibal and necrophiliac. Between the years of 1978 and 1991 he managed to successfully rape, murder and dismember the bodies of young 17 men and boys. He often preserved the body parts of his victims in his apartment in Wisconsin - typically all or parts being from the skeletal structure.
Dahmer was diagnosed by psychologists and prison psychiatrists as suffering from a borderline personality disorder, however he was declared legally sane at the time of his trial. Convicted of 15 of the 16 murders in his hometown Wisconsin, Dahmer was sentenced to 15 terms of life imprisonment on February 15th, 1992. He was later sentenced to a 16th term of life imprisonment in relation to an additional homicide committed in the state of Ohio, earlier in 1978.
Soon after on November 28th, 1994, Dahmer was beaten to death in his cell by Christopher Scarver, a fellow inmate at the Columbia Correctional Institution, where he had been incarcerated.
